There's five main components you'll need when flat towing your vehicle behind your motor home. You'll need your base plate, which is your connection point for your tow bar that is installed on your vehicle. You'll need your tow bar, which is the connection between your vehicle and your motor home. You'll also need your safety cables, which is a supplemental connection in addition to your tow bar. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 smart fortwo you're gonna be taking a look at, I'm gonna show you install the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit. Part number RM-15267.This is what our Diode kit looks like when it's installed. Six bolt here at the front of my vehicle. What this is gonna do, this is gonna give me connection point between my RV and my towed vehicle, or my smart car while it's being flat-towed behind the RV. This is gonna allow me to run my lights through my RV.For instance, once my umbilical cord is plugged into here, and it's plugged into my RV, once I step on the brakes, it's gonna activate the brake lights, or signal in the car, or in the Smart Car, while it's being towed. Same thing goes with my running lights, and both my turn signals.This diode kit is gonna hook directly into your factory tail light wiring. more
